Funds raised from the annual Empty Bowls event have enabled the distribution of grants to many local organizations to help in the prevention of hunger in Portage County.

$4000 available for Hunger and Poverty Prevention in Portage County!

The Hunger Prevention Partnership must receive all grant applications no later than September 1st, 2017. Incomplete or late proposals will not be considered.

Approval of the grants will be done October 4th, 2017, with notifications to follow. Grant dollars will be distributed at Empty Bowls on October 28th, 2017. A final report is required at the August 1st, 2018 HPPP meeting.
